Our
first online BIOMAB Dissection Drawing Day is due on 29.01.2021.
Official
start: 12:00 UCT +01 - finish: 16:30 UCT +01.
On the day anatomist Francis Van Glabbeek (University of Antwerp) together with Tom Quisenaerts (CHIMES - Surgery for Medical Students) will be dissecting from a fresh frozen arm. The dissection process will be explained and afterwards the specimen will be displayed from different angles to draw from.

We
really look forward to it and we hope this online streaming session will be the
first of more in the future and hopefully an international collaboration and
exchange streaming dissection drawing sessions with the anatomy labs in Antwerp, Dundee,
Liverpool and London will grow out of this.

BIOMAB webinar and streaming protocol for visiting
Professionals
All attendees for webinars will only receive an invitation via a BIOMAB supervisor.
All webinars require formal Registration through BIOMAB in
order to receive an invitation to an event.
Before attending the BIOMAB webinar, close any unused applications.
Before signing into the BIOMAB webinar, ensure
your computer audio and camera are set ‘on’ under either ‘settings’ or ‘system
preferences’, in
order that you can be seen and heard.
If your ‘camera/video’ is not enabled, leave the
‘room’ check your settings and re-join the room once enabled,
alternatively use another device such as your phone.
Any participant who removes their camera/video option
will be removed from the event ‘room’ by the webinar supervisor, unless express temporary
visual loss has been approved in advance.
All participants are required to be seen, be present
and participate positively with the session.
Participants will be held in the ‘waiting
room’ until the supervisor begins the webinar.
Once the webinar has begun you may mute your
microphone, as this can help eliminate background noise and distract other
attendees.
Use a headset to help
reduce external noise and support your hearing or speaking.
You may use the 'raise your hand’
function if
you wish to speak or the chat option to ask
question,
which can be found in the centre at the bottom of your screen.
Attendees are not permitted to record or
otherwise ‘capture’ the content of any webinar or similar BIOMAB
Streaming event in
any way.
In the event where the BIOMAB may wish
to record
an event, the participants present will be informed and their consent requested.
Under no circumstances may any BIOMAB events
be attended by any unregistered persons.
Under no circumstances may any webinar
or streaming event
content be circulated to a third party, whether these be recordings’, or any selected
supportive material prepared and subsequently added to the BIOMAB webinar
page relating to this event.
Remember to sign out and leave the meeting or leave when requested to do so by the supervisor.
